About Miami Gardens Makos

The Miami Gardens Makos, a franchise in the South Florida Collegiate League (SFCBL), completed their inaugural season in 2024 with a solid 18-15 record, just missing out on the playoffs. The SFCBL is a top-tier summer wood-bat league, stretching from West Palm Beach to Miami, and consists of 14 teams divided into North and South divisions. The league's 38-game regular season provides collegiate players with a high level of competition, fostering their development with professional strength coaches and medical staff. Many SFCBL teams, including the Makos, consistently rank nationally in Collegiate Summer Baseball's rankings, emphasizing the league's quality. Notable alumni of the SFCBL have advanced to professional baseball, highlighting the league's role in player development.

The Makos make their home at St. Thomas University’s Paul Demie Mainier Field and are continually on the lookout for talented players aiming to improve ahead of their next college season.
