Miami Gardens Makos – South Florida Collegiate Baseball League

The Miami Gardens Makos, a franchise in the South Florida Collegiate League (SFCBL), completed their inaugural season in 2024 with a strong 18-15 record, just missing the playoffs.
The SFCBL is one of the premier summer wood-bat leagues in the nation, stretching from West Palm Beach to Miami with 14 teams split into North and South divisions. Its 38-game regular season offers collegiate players elite competition, supported by professional strength coaches and medical staff. The league is nationally recognized by Collegiate Summer Baseball and has produced numerous alumni who have advanced to professional baseball.

Position Players – Consistent in-game experience plus practices and drills designed for daily progression.
Pitchers – Advanced development through:

Trackman technology to measure performance in games and bullpens.
Access to an in-house pitching lab to track skills and progression throughout the season.

Strength Training – Optional sessions with a professional trainer offered all summer.

The Makos play their home games at Paul Demie Mainieri Field on the campus of St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, FL.
